About Kyle Cade:

Kyle Cade, the "sad boy pop" songwriter moved to LA at the end of 2015. Since he moved there with zero connections and only one friend he decided to take some workshops at The Songwriting School of Los Angeles. Through those courses he was able to hone his craft and build lasting relationships with people who are still his biggest co-writers/collaborators today. Over the past five and half years he's written for numerous indie pop artists and pop electronic artists. 

Throughout that experience there's been a handful of songs, too personal, to have another artist voice those stories. Those experiences became a collection of five songs titled "JOURNEY". The first page of that story was released May 28th, titled "you're not here". It was written about his experience falling for a boy who lived on the opposite side of the country. Get ready to get sad with the second page "unsaid" which was penned from the pain of a close friend passing away in 2019. It'll be released on her birthday, June 30th.

Though we all love a happy good feel track, the storytelling in these songs tend to not have resolution. Their purpose is simply to remind, no matter how hard the experience, you are never alone.
