डूंगरपुर जिले के सागवाड़ा थानान्तर्गत अंतर्गत राजकीय चिकित्सालय सागवाड़ा से हुई मोटरसाइकिल चोरी की वारदात का पुलिस ने सफल खुलासा करते हुए एक कुख्यात चोर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। थाना अधिकारी मदनलाल खटीक ने शाम 6:00 बजे प्रेस नोट जारी कर बताया कि आरोपी की पहचान लाला उर्फ लालशंकर धर्मोत पुत्र रमेश धर्मोत (उम्र 20 वर्ष), निवासी ठाकरड़ा, थाना सागवाड़ा के रूप में हुई है। आरोपी के कब्जे से कुल 6 चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद की गई हैं।
पीड़ित देवेंद्र पाटीदार, जो कि सागवाड़ा राजकीय चिकित्सालय में नर्सिंग ऑफिसर के पद पर कार्यरत हैं, ने 30 जुलाई को थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई थी। रिपोर्ट में बताया गया कि वे 29 जुलाई की रात अपनी ड्यूटी के लिए अस्पताल आए थे और यामाहा कंपनी की बाइक (RJ 12 SE 4358) को बाहर खड़ी कर ड्यूटी पर चले गए। अगले दिन सुबह 8 बजे बाहर आकर देखा तो बाइक गायब थी।
मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक मनीष कुमार के निर्देश पर अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक अशोक मीणा और सागवाड़ा वृत्ताधिकारी रूप सिंह के सुपरविजन में थानाधिकारी मदन लाल के नेतृत्व में विशेष टीम गठित की गई। जांच के दौरान सीसीटीवी फुटेज, तकनीकी जानकारी और स्थानीय खुफिया तंत्र की मदद से संदिग्ध लाला उर्फ लालशंकर की पहचान की गई।
पुलिस पूछताछ में लाला ने सागवाड़ा अस्पताल से बाइक चोरी करना स्वीकार कर लिया। आरोपी से की गई गहन पूछताछ और अनुसंधान में अब तक कुल 6 मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद की गई हैं। पुलिस रिकॉर्ड के अनुसार लाला उर्फ लालशंकर एक शातिर चोर और थाने का हिस्ट्रीशीटर है, जिसके खिलाफ पहले से 7 आपराधिक प्रकरण दर्ज हैं, जिनमें चोरी और नकबजनी शामिल हैं।
पुलिस को उम्मीद है कि आगे की पूछताछ में और भी कई वारदातों का खुलासा हो सकता है। सागवाड़ा पुलिस ने सफलता पूर्वक एक संगठित चोरी गिरोह की कड़ी को तोड़ने में कामयाबी हासिल की है।
Bike theft from Sagwara Hospital solved — History sheeter Lala alias Lalshankar arrested, 6 motorcycles recovered
The police has successfully solved the motorcycle theft case from the Government Hospital Sagwara under Sagwara police station in Dungarpur district and arrested a notorious thief. Police station officer Madanlal Khatik issued a press note at 6:00 pm and said that the accused has been identified as Lala alias Lalshankar Dharmot son Ramesh Dharmot (age 20 years), resident of Thakarda, police station Sagwara. A total of 6 stolen motorcycles have been recovered from the accused's possession.
The victim Devendra Patidar, who is working as a nursing officer in Sagwara Government Hospital, had lodged a report at the police station on July 30. It was told in the report that he had come to the hospital for his duty on the night of July 29 and left for duty after parking his Yamaha company bike (RJ 12 SE 4358) outside. When he came out at 8 am the next day, the bike was missing.
Considering the seriousness of the case, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar, a special team was formed under the leadership of Thanadhikari Madan Lal under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Meena and Sagwara Circle Officer Roop Singh. During the investigation, the suspect Lala alias Laalshankar was identified with the help of CCTV footage, technical information and local intelligence.

During police interrogation, Lala accepted stealing the bike from Sagwara Hospital. A total of 6 motorcycles have been recovered so far in the intensive interrogation and investigation of the accused. According to police records, Lala alias Laalshankar is a vicious thief and a history-sheeter of the police station, against whom 7 criminal cases are already registered, including theft and burglary.

The police hope that many more incidents can be revealed in further interrogation. Sagwara Police has successfully succeeded in breaking the chain of an organized theft gang.
