Kolkata Biriyani is much different from Malabar Biriyani or Hyderabadi Biriyani or Lucknowi Biriyani. Be it a chicken biriyani or a mutton biriyani, it usually comes with a boiled egg and a whole boiled potato. This is a special Kolkata biriyani from Kochi. We also had some Falooda and Ice Cream Cake from Palooda Cafe. കൊൽക്കത്ത ബിരിയാണി എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ മലബാർ ബിരിയാണിയോ ഹൈദരാബാദി ബിരിയാണിയോ പോലെ ആവും എന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കരുത് ട്ടോ. അതിൽ ഒരു ഉരുളക്കിഴങ്ങും മുട്ട പുഴുങ്ങിയതും ഒക്കെ കൂടി ആണ് വരുക. അതിന് അതിന്റേതായ ഒരു രുചിയും ഉണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ ഒരു ബിരിയാണി കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് ലൈറ്റ് ആയി കുറച്ചു ഫലൂദയും കുറച്ചു മിൽക്ക് ഷേക്കും കൂടി ആയപ്പോൾ സംഭവം കുശാൽ.
