A lawmaker on the House Committee on Justice dismisses the credibility of an affidavit included in an impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte, citing factual errors and calling it an "incredible document."

The solon states the committee's focus will now shift to determining sufficiency in substance, which includes discussions on confidential funds, alleged threats against the president and other officials, and the Vice President's Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN). The lawmaker also notes that with the number of complaints consolidated from four down to two, the impeachment deliberations are expected to proceed more quickly.

This comes after a heated debate during the determination of sufficiency in form for the impeachment complaints filed against the Vice President at the House of Representatives of the Philippines.
