#آستانه_اشرفیه یکی از شهرهای بزرگ و مهم استان #گیلان ( #شمال_ایران) در ۳۵ کیلومتری رشت واقع است و فاصله آن تا شهر لاهیجان ۷ کیلومتر است. همچنین از شمال به بندر کیاشهر و به فاصله ۱۷ کیلومتری قرار دارد. این شهر علاوه بر موقعیت جغرافیایی مناسب خاک بسیار حاصل‌خیزی نسبت به شهرهای مختلف گیلان دارد که به دلیل داشتن رودخانه سفیدرود در دل خود است. زیرا این رودخانه با ارزش، آبرفت‌های خوبی را با خود می‌آورد به همین دلیل باغ‌های کشاورزی در کناره سفیدرود در این شهر به وفور دیده می‌شود. یکی از مزیت‌هایی که رودخانه سفیدرود به این شهر می‌دهد عدم سیلاب در این شهر است. زیرا باوجود باران‌های فراوانی که در طول زمستان و پاییز می‌آید سفیدرود مانند یک فاضلاب قوی آب‌ها را به سمت خود کشیده و به دریا می‌راند.
از محصولات زراعی این شهرستان می‌توان بادام زمینی که در واقع مرغوبترین بادام #ایران است، برنج -انواع برنج‌های معطر و طارمی، دمسیاه و… – گوجه سبز و تخمه آفتابگردان و مرکبات نام برد.
به دلیل کیفیت و سبکی خاک این منطقه که بیشتر حاصل رسوبات سفیدرود است هویج نیز از محصولات آن است. این شهرستان از مراکز عمده تولید فلفل سبز است. ضمناً این شهرستان دارای نوعی کدو تنبل است که از نظر ارزش تغذیه در سطح بالایی قرار دارد. آستانه اشرفیه از مراکز اصلی تولید نهال صنوبر است. همچنین صید ماهی در دهستان دستک و بندر کیاشهر در سواحل خزر رونق فراوان دارد.

The agricultural products of this city include peanuts, which are the best almonds in #Iran , rice, aromatic and tarimi types of rice, black damsiah, green tomatoes, sunflower seeds, and citrus fruits.
Due to the quality and lightness of the soil in this area, which is mostly the result of Sefidroud sediments, carrots are also one of its products. This city is one of the major centers of green pepper production. In addition, this city has a type of pumpkin that is at a high level in terms of nutritional value. #Astaneh_Ashrafiyeh is one of the main centers for the production of poplar saplings. Also, fishing in Dastak village and Kiashahr port on the Caspian coast is very prosperous.
