Buses 2014 Festival 31st August Gaydon (with open top ride)

The Buses magazine-sponsored event at Gaydon on 31st August 2014 was blessed with fine weather (the Bank Holiday a week earlier was a complete washout), so timing was excellent. This new event, which may one day grow to rival Showbus, was very well attended, judging by the fact that the organizers ran out of souvenir brochures. If you were lucky enough to be there, you might see yourself in the video. If you weren’t, then I hope this gives you a taste of what it was like.

A big THANKYOU to the organisers for making this event happen.

PS. The acoustics of rallies being what they are, sometimes the bus you are hearing is not the same vehicle as the bus you are watching! I’ve found two instances of this, and there may be more.

PPS. To everyone who jumped out of the way when they thought they were spoiling my shot – thanks, but there was really no need. People taking still pictures prefer not to have people in their shots; by contrast, people making videos generally prefer to have people in them, to make the scene come alive.
