MG4 Apple Carplay / Android Auto - Best Wire and Functionality Overview

Apple Carplay and Android Auto are available across the MG4 range as standard which is great the maps and charging apps are much better than the stock system. If you have an SE spec you don't have Navigation built in then this solves the problem. The only downside is it's not wireless... It's a wired connection using the USB-A port. You can get a wireless hub which I will probably invest in but for now this will do just fine.

Which wire works best with the MG4? I've found the official Apple branded cable and cheaper but excellent quality Anker braided cable to be very reliable.
