Live Scratcher is a Max for Live device which emulates a record being played forwards and backwards on a turntable in various rhythmical ways by scrubbing a playhead over a sample. The playhead can be either be 'played' live with a MIDI controller, mapped to automation or synced to the device's internal LFO. A MIDI note can also be played to 'cut' the sound in.

The end result is very similar to that of a DJ scratching with a turntable and mixer.
