"Clarity" is Hypno's newest level, even though it may not look that new on the surface. Due to the objects and tools used here, it feels a lot like a 2.0 level, which is interesting to see in 2024. I'm personally not the biggest fan of that era, as I'm more of a 1.9 person, but this is still charming and nostalgic to me for sure. In object usage, I'm talking about the grass, brick, and rock blocks used in the first few parts in particular, all of which were introduced in 2.0 but aren't used much anymore. As for tools, this mostly relies on move triggers from 2.0 for its effects. I definitely find the latter parts a bit more interesting personally due to their effects, such as the rainbow background at 1:00 (and its awesome transition beforehand). In block design, it's also a bit more to my taste with neat patterns compared to the first parts, which heavily relied on the aforementioned 2.0 blocks. The split parts from 0:16 look quite good despite this, though, as the combination and contrast of the two sides make it interesting nonetheless. All in all, this is a really cool throwback level by Hypno, which definitely deserves an Epic Extreme Demon rating.
