On November 24, 2022 the Erasmus-Descartes Conference was held at the Aéro-Club de France in Paris. This year's theme was Sustainable Aviation. French and Dutch companies, knowledge institutions, governmental organizations and Young Talents came together to discuss the challenges we face in the sustainable aviation, and how we can overcome them.


The initiative
The Erasmus-Descartes Conference is an initiative that was founded in 2002 by the Embassy of France to the Netherlands and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to France. Every year representatives from companies, public parties, the scientific field and young talents gather to exchange expertise and ideas, and to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between France and the Netherlands. This all with the objective to find solutions for global challenges. This year was the twentieth edition of the Erasmus-Descartes Conference.
