Widodo welcomes Duterte on state visit

(9 Sep 2016) Indonesian President Joko Widodo hosted Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte at the presidential palace in Jakarta on Friday.
Duterte's arrival was greeted with a state ceremony, which was also attended by ministers and delegates from the Philippines.
A number of issues were discussed at the meeting of the two leaders, including security issues in the Sulu Sea.
Before delivering a joint statement in the afternoon, Duterte and Widodo signed a declaration on regional maritime security.
During his visit to Jakarta, President Duterte paid a visit to the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery, followed by a tour of the Tanah Abang Market together with Widodo.
