In this video I replace my thermostat in my boat engine, on a Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke long shaft motor. I will discuss the importance of changing the thermostat before it goes bad, as it can be deadly!
I show you all the scaling build up on my thermostat and in the engine, then I also use Ryldme to show you a test with my thermostat that has been rinsed with Salt A Way every outing more than once, and yet it still has massive build up after 6 months.
