Our two week honeymoon in Italy was a dream come true! This vlog is a few of our favorite highlights and moments from our trip. There were so many more amazing moments that we just enjoyed together without any photos or videos to document. ❤️ If you ever get the chance to go to these places In Italy do It!
Itinerary:
We flew into Rome, spent about a day and a half exploring the city. We walked around a lot of the tourist attractions like the Colosseum and the Vatican, but didn't think it was worth our time to wait in line to do the official tours. It still very much felt like we got a true Rome experience even without seeing inside those places. Pro Tip: if you want to see the Trevi Fountain without too many people, go in the early morning (before 8am).
Then we traveled to Naples and spent 2 days there. We did a super fun pizza making class and hiked Mount Vesuvius!
Majority of our trip was spent in Sorrento, we spent 5 days there exploring the city and taking day trips to the different towns on the Amalfi Coast!
We finished our trip with a few days in Capri exploring the island! It was so nice to stay on the island because after the last tourist ferry left for the evening we felt like we had the island to ourselves and it was magical!
Below are the names of the hotels we stayed at on our trip and some of our favorite restaurants! Please comment if you have any questions or need any specific suggestions!

Grand Hotel Cocumella - 5 star hotel, amazing, we love it here, lunch restaurant is incredible for pizza and pasta, beautiful terrace for sunset drinks, chairs on a private dock by the ocean, gorgeous grounds and pool as well
Vista Sky Bar - amazing sunset view, great drinks, fun music, great spot, more young and upbeat music

Capri
Punta Tragara - gorgeous, 5 star, beautiful property and rooms
Da Paolino - amazing ambiance, go early for a pre dinner cocktail, spiciest margs we’ve ever had, get the lemon ravioli, the pasta is where it’s at!! I didn’t love my sea bass and ended up ordering spaghetti instead
Hike to arch rock, it’s a low key hike if you go past the fragolini rocks, but it’s gorgeous, there’s also an easier path to get there through town
La Fontelina - AMAZING, beach club, reserve chairs and get lunch, super cute and great place to get in the water
Genaro Amitrano - Michelin Star restaurant. Very few tables so good ambiance. Food was delicious (best risotto in the world - had to be special ordered, just butter and Parmesan and add a little fresh ground pepper on top) and good wine selection; go with an open mind as the selection is very unique e.g. rabbit was on the menu. Take a cab to and from to avoid the long walk.
La Capannia - close to the piazzeta in Capri, INCREDIBLE Ravioli, great atmosphere, if you want to be picky and annoying ask for basic risotto (butter & Parmesan) and it will be incredible.
Villa Verede - great lunch spot!
Happy traveling!! ✈️
