DAWN OLIVIERI, star of YELLOWSTONE, sits for an interview to discuss her character Sarah Atwood, the path her character took in the show and how she originated Dutton women in 1883.

*This was filmed before the start of the second half of season 5. There are no spoilers regarding season 5 or Sarah's character.

Dawn Orienne Olivieri is an American actress perhaps best known for her turn as Lydia in 'Heroes' and Monica Talbot in 'House of Lies'. She has appeared in the Showtime series 'House of Lies' for 41 episodes, starting in 2012, playing the competitive management consultant and ex-wife of main character Marty Kaan. She has also appeared in 'True Blood', 'The Vampire Diaries', 'My Boys', NBC's 'Knight Rider', TNT's Trust Me, SyFy's 'Stargate: Atlantis', and recurred on CBS's 'How I Met Your Mother'.

She has recently worked with Taylor Sheridan and the 'Yellowstone' universe as Claire Dutton in '1883', and today appeared in Sheridan's 'Lioness'.

YELLOWSTONE centers on the Dutton family's drama and their conflicts with the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and developers. The Duttons are led by John Dutton, a sixth-generation homesteader and devoted father. The series stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and Gil Birmingham.

In Yellowstone, Olivieri plays Sarah Atwood, corporate lawyer hired by Market Equities. Many have arrived tried to take the Duttons down and claim the land on and around Yellowstone before, and thus far all without any luck. Sarah Atwood seems to be the latest opponent to the Duttons' way of life, but there are a few things that seem poised to make her an intriguing antagonist for the family.

During the #interview, Olivieri discusses the path her character took. How reading up on manipulation really helped her play characters like Sarah, what characteristics of a Dutton woman was important to her when playing Claire in 1883, and how she couldn't wait for Sarah to get off the sidelines.
