Malama Missions Pt1 - Derelict Net Removal

Over the years I have collected lots of video footage of myself and friends volunteering and cleaning up the ocean around the Hawaiian Island. Sometimes we perform small projects, other times we work on large ones.

This video documents the removal of a derelict net from the reef. A project like this isn't difficult, but does require expert scuba divers who know how to handle conditions and are prepared for anything that may arise .

Of all the things I have done in my life, being involved in these clean up make me the most proud. I feel lucky to have the skills and tools to safely achieve these project, and I look forward to doing more.
