Your patio or deck is a great space to host cookouts and relax outdoors, but mosquitoes hanging around can ruin your fun. Check out five tips to keep your patio free of mosquitoes.

1. Minimize Stagnant Water
Mosquitoes need water to breed, so you’ll want to examine your yard for stagnant water. Empty and remove items that can collect water. Look for areas where water pools after rain and fill them in. Bring glasses of water inside, and replace water in kiddie pools or pet water bowls regularly.
