Jeff Hoover sits down with Kathy Jones of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, to talk about what brought her to Longview, what it feels like to be married to a pastor, and just get to know her on a personal level. Kathy Jones is married to Patrick Jones, the pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran. Originally from Minnesota, they’ve both been in a few different places before moving to Longview about a year ago, settling down, and calling it home. Kathy has quite an interesting background that is worth listening to.

Being married to a pastor can be a big weight to carry, but for Kathy, it doesn’t change who she is, or weigh her down. Instead, she is confident in who she is, and lives her life just “loving God and loving people”. From an early age, she has had a relationship with Christ, and through that, God has done some pretty remarkable things. To understand what it means to be known and loved by God is an incredible thing, and Kathy is a great example of that! Take some time and get to know Kathy and hear her heart.
