YOU GUYS, this episode of Adventure Time legitimately made me tear up... it was so adorable but heartbreaking at the same time! (The lyrics of this song are basically from the Ice King's perspective to Marceline, for those of you who haven't had a chance to watch it.)

This is obviously an acoustic version and not the original -- I tried to give it my own spin by capturing the bittersweet nature of the piece with a more raw and vulnerable tone, much like I did with my cover of "I'm Just Your Problem" a while back! As such, I took a few creative liberties with it, so anyone who's looking for a straight-up recreation of the original might want to search elsewhere. :P

I really do hope you enjoy it, though! The freestyle nature of Adventure Time's songs can sometimes be a challenge to translate into song formats that are more structured, but I tried my best, so I hope it worked! Let me know what you think! :)
