My 59th Christmas and the weather was nice so I went to the park for a couple of laps on the skateboard. It had been a couple of weeks and I needed to work on the basics. I met up with a park local named Dante and he has been getting pretty good over the last couple of years. Old School Skater Dan showed up too. I am a 59 year old skateboarder that has taken a long break from skating and decided to get back into it right before I turned 55 years old. The videos I share are from various skate sessions and other skateboard related things I have encountered along the way. Maybe this is a mid-life crisis, or maybe this is me just being me. Maybe this is my way of tapping into the secret fountain of youth through the goodness and magical things that come from skateboarding. I share this to inspire others, in particular to inspire older skaters that set their skateboard aside to got off the couch and go skate again...to go out there and enjoy the goodness, to go out there with your kids and your friends, to go out there and make new friends, and to go out there and roll around and shred.
