At the U.S. Olympic gymnastics trials on Friday, Simone Biles shone on the floor exercise, taking the lead. While other competitors faced injuries, Biles remains in first place as they head into the final day of competition on Sunday. Now Simone Biles is four routines away from making her third Olympic team.

After the first day of competition at the Olympic trials, she was ahead of her Olympic and club teammate Jordan Chiles by 2.5 points. Suni Lee, the reigning Olympic all-around champion, finished third in the standings.
