#21 Post-Ambient House w/ Peak & Octatrack

A live improv existing somewhere between the perimeters of droning ambient and industrial-tinged house music, where the expressive textural tendencies of the Novation Peak colour the sonic scenery with noisy, beautiful washes and constantly evolving melodic tonalities while the Octatrack mkII provides a deep and atonal percussive framework for it, with minimal changes across the piece's duration. On the Peak, most of the movement comes from filter swells, filter resonance and overdrive + FX adjustments, and oscillator balancing. Whenever you feel particularly pining and melancholic but can't quite explain yourself and someone asks how are you, just send them this.
