I bring the food to the house & she does all the rest🤙 The big Pit-Boss got loaded up with freshly caught mullet and smoked dat to perfection. Today, I fell in love with smoked mullet 💘
I absolutely LOVE wade fishing with a cast net. I will throw my net until my body can't take it anymore, lol. There were too many net throws and too many fish catches to fit it into a single video, and the final fish totals were: 13 mullet, 2 NICE black drums, and 6 mojarra. I packed 2 bags of ice for this journey and I'm happy I did, by the next morning, the fish were starting to warm up (I need a better cooler than the $24 Walmart special)
This episode started with a monsoon rainstorm that brought lots of rain and wind, and it lasted for 2 hours, then finally blew through. I was so happy to get a crack at throwing into the surf for black drum. I can't believe my luck that I netted 2 back-to-back. I also noticed lots of tiny crabs in my net, which I figure that those fish were feasting on, until I abruptly interrupted their dinner.
This episode took out my go-pro camera, it's overheating problem finally took it out for good. I'm really happy I had my waterproof camera with me, because I was not expecting this amount of rain. Haha.
Turns out I am a HUGE fan of the famous Florida "Smoked Mullet Fish Dip"! That was insanely good, and I quickly regretted the mullet I let go. I ate the whole bowl of fish dip, standing in front of my stove. I didn't even leave the kitchen; it was seriously THAT good!
