Samsung SGH-X100 Default Ringtones/Message/Alarm Tones

Описание к видео Samsung SGH-X100 Default Ringtones/Message/Alarm Tones

Here are all default ringtones from SGH-X100 by Samsung, released in 3rd quarter 2003. Key features of this phone include 65K 128x128 CSTN display, 40-tone polyphony (MMF/MIDI, ringtones with voice supported), about 9 MB of built-in shared memory for storing downloaded files and multimedia messages and a separate sector of 1,5 MB for Java games.

This phone is infamous, in particular, for its poor engineering quality, namely, bad screening of the housing in combination with a powerful GSM transciever. When the screening was wiping off during time, that caused the phone to freeze and reboot during all operations requiring network access (network search during startup, making/receiving a call or SMS, accessing WAP). Many people, however, didn't know about the true reason of the failures and thought it was a software bug. Nevertheless, this model was quite popular in 2004 and first half of 2005 as it had a lot of memory, nice sound quality and stylish unisex design. In fact, X100 was my first personal phone which I got as my birthday present when I turned 12. The phone shown in the video is not that one, as my first X100 was given away quite long ago.
