Conventional gravity septic systems don't always conform to all lots. This video explains some of the above-ground septic system requirements and why we use them in place of the conventional.
We often use above ground systems because of shallow soils, meaning little soil depth before meeting a restrictive element such as high water, bedrock or clay/silty soils.
