Local Wigan and Leigh College band Atomic Culture performed a short set as part of a larger 3 hour concert featuring 9 up and coming bands. The bands featured comprised of students in both first and second year.

Atomic Culture has five members, who have all remained part of the band for 2 years. They play a variety of songs and styles, from The Cure to Radiohead to Amy Winehouse. They met in High School and are all in the same year together.

We have:

Keyboard- Justine
Drums- Marcus


The set was originally supposed to last 45 minutes however was reduced to allow more bands to play. This meant they didn’t have time to play any of their original, newly written music. Oh well, there’s always next time…
