Tesla Terafactory Texas Update

Hello and welcome back everyone, it’s Randy! In today’s footage we see the latest updates with the major road construction in the southwest corner and also happening in various areas around the exterior of the site. As always, there are updates to other areas of interest we’ll see as it looks like things are moving along just fine.

Here are today’s key takeaways:
The north end shows the progress on the possible new lot at the far north of the factory and we can see that aggregate mix has already started to be applied to the area. The northern gap shows lots of activity happening on the ground-level beneath the space frame and also lots of activity on each of the different levels of the BCP we see later that’s out of frame.
The GigaPress area shows concrete has been poured beneath the corridor we last saw formed and prepped with rebar. We also see a new angled steel cross beam between the concrete columns on the north end. Concrete has also been poured in the areas around the recently poured foundations and expansion joints have been cut as well. On the left of the image, we can see that concrete has been poured for the grade beam and the next section of it is being set up with rebar as it extends across the entire angled corner.
East of of GigaPress area across the road, we can see work in progress to lay some new gas lines that currently extend from where we see in the image all the way up to HGR.
The east side of the BIW section shows an active concrete pour to one of the large formed sections just north of where the loading bays are on this side. Up on the roof, it looks like the stairwell access structure has now been wrapped with a poly sheeting tarp possibly until the remaining frame work is completed while we deal with recent and more storms in the forecast.
The former robot storage area is now having temporary parking space bumper blocks placed so this area can be used for parking pretty soon.
The southern gap shows the center row footings on the south end are in the process of having forms and rebar installed and we can see that many excavations have taken place along the west side of the gap directly on columns of the structure on that side for future footings. On the north end, we see that some interesting pieces of steel are on the ground in this area, in addition to metal wall studs being installed to close off this section from the section to the north of it.
In the southeast corner, we can see new activity where we have many sections of reinforced concrete pipe positioned next to an excavator, so we may start seeing some work starting here to handle sewage or more drainage in general.
The southwest corner near the bridge shows the curved section has now been paved and now the road coming from the west successfully connects to the road on the west side of the factory. We can also see a new portion of road has been formed and is almost ready for concrete. Major progress has been made with the installation of the wall panels on the angled corner as they look to have the vast majority of them installed. It’s quite possible there are a few remaining on the ground-level where we see them missing, but also there could be large rollup doors here as well, so we’ll keep an eye on it.
Lastly, we look at the rest of the west side and see major progress with installing the bottom row of windows as well as the taller top row of windows now that installation has resumed for both.
