Xerath was coming from a family of slaves, but not any slaves, slaves that were scholars back in their lands, before being conquered by Shurima. With his ambition, he climbed up step by step, until he became friend with the emperor and his right hand. But in secret, he planned to steal the empire for himself and to free all the slaves.
