Consumer satisfaction in Singapore improved across most sectors in 2019. Results from the study by the Institute of Service Excellence showed the national score hitting a record 13-year high. It rose to 74.3 points -- a 1.2% improvement from 2018. Leading the charge is higher satisfaction in the F&B sector, which has been building on its steady upward trend for five years running. Not far behind were sectors like info-communications, retail and tourism. The finance and insurance and healthcare industries saw noticeable improvements of 1% on-year. When it came to finance, more than 40% of respondents said they were willing to try out digital banks.
