In a strong statement, senior Congress leader Pawan Khera condemned the recent police lathicharge on students in Bihar who were peacefully demanding their fundamental rights. While the nation was grappling with a war-like situation, youth in Bihar were brutally attacked for raising issues like timely issuance of degrees, improvement in the education system, and job guarantees.

Khera criticized both the Modi government and the Bihar administration, stating that this is not the first time young people in Bihar have been treated with such apathy. He highlighted the crumbling state of Bihar's education system, which forces thousands of students to migrate out of the state for better opportunities.
