The KORG Grandstage Piano is equipped with superior sound engines for the ultimate on-stage experience. The SGX-2 acoustic piano sound engine is equipped with world-leading grand piano sounds from Berlin, Heidelberg, Austria, Japan, and Italy. The Grandstage also provides a newly sampled upright piano sound for extra variety.

The EP-1 electric piano sound engine contains six vintage electric piano sounds: the classic I, II, V, 200 and 200A reed piano models, and DMP tine piano models. Multi-Dimensional Synthesis technology provides smooth response to subtle changes in the keyboard dynamics for realistic feel.
