In this video reaction we will learn about the first battle of WW2.
In September 1939, as the German invasion of Poland was underway, a group of Polish postal workers in the city of Danzig (now Gdańsk) decided to resist the German occupation. Led by Konrad Gadomski, a former military officer, they fortified the Polish Post Office and prepared to defend it against the approaching German forces.
Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, the Polish defenders put up a fierce resistance, holding off the German forces for nearly a day. The battle became a symbol of Polish defiance and resistance against the Nazi invasion, these 43 brave mailmen will be forever remembered!
