One of the stupidest decisions Capcom ever made with Monster Hunter Rise was to allow you to bring your pets on Multiplayer hunts. This caused so many issues with players not being able to see the monster due to the absurd amount of sparks and various other hit effects.

The cats aren't so bad, but the dogs are just too much since they stick to the monster like glue, jumping up and down swinging their weapon and obscuring every freaking thing. They didn't think this through about how it would affect multiplayer gameplay.

It's obscenely terrible that even in the Monster Hunter Rise trailers shown by Capcom, they actively go out of their way to NOT show buddies in hunts. They only show 4 players, like how EVERY OTHER MONSTER HUNTER GAME WAS LIKE BEFORE THIS.

Sunbreak offers us options to tweak these effects. A welcome (and much needed) setting, but it doesn't fix the main complaint that I have. But multiplayer is somewhat PLAYABLE this time.

Dear hunters, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, bring your CATS into Multiplayer hunts and not your DOGS. PLEASE!
