Poor Man's Roubo Style Frame Saw Using a Bandsaw Blade [Woodworking Tool]

Описание к видео Poor Man's Roubo Style Frame Saw Using a Bandsaw Blade [Woodworking Tool]

First of all I'd like to mention the video that inspired my video, a bandsaw blade frame saw by Mike Sander -    • Resawing with a frame saw

This is my twist on a Roubo Style Frame Saw, I think it's fair to call it the poor man's style of frame saw because the total cost was around £45-50. You could make it for cheaper as well if you wish but I went for a mid range bandsaw blade rather than a cheap one. The joints are drawbore mortise and tenon with walnut (I think if I remember rightly) dowels and the frame itself is made from oak.

I don't think the way I fastened the blade was the best way but it was what came to my mind at the time. I'm open to suggestions on what you'd do differently and how you'd improve upon the design. This build was completed entirely with hand tools.

Thank you for viewing and hopefully I'll catch you soon!
