Part III -    • History of Estonians from 1920s to To...

As an Estonian myself I've been blown away by how little do people (including Estonians themselves) know about our history and origin! Most tourists and foreigners define and think of Estonia as some post-soviet country when in reality Soviet occupation is only 48 years of Estonia's lengthy history which begins from about 9000 BC.
From this three part video series you will learn about the Finnic and Nordic roots of Estonians, what life was like for Estonians, who were the conquerors of Estonia, how have Estonians survived the whirlwinds of history etc.

The music featured in this video has been selected with the respective time periods in mind to best convey the atmosphere of that specific time.
