Garmin Vivoactive 4 / Venu- How To Join wifi networks

In this video, I'll show you how you can join wifi networks with your Garmin Vivoactive 4. This will allow the device to upload activities to Garmin Connect, sync music from services like Spotify and get training workout plans and schedule.


This won't support wifi networks such as those found at coffee shops, airports or hotel as Garmin does not support the login screen you typically see when joining those networks. So this will work best with your home or work wifi network.


You will need to be within range of the wifi network you want to connect to and with Garmin Connect, you will add the wifi network to the smartphone app, and then it will transfer to the device.


1. Using your Garmin Connect app on your smartphpone tap on MORE | GARMIN DEVICES | GENERAL | WIFI NETWORK


2. ADD wifi network from the list of detected access point and enter the password to connect to the wifi network.


Once done you can check the settings on the Vivoactive 4 by PRESS and HOLD the BACK button and tap on the GEAR icon, then scroll to WIFI. From here you can connect to the wifi and do a transfer, auto activity upload and view the network where you can disconnect.
