Funny Signs at the Laguna Beach Political Rally // NOMAD (Ep. 43)

Damon Amendolara was on a visit to California over the summer, and wanted to soak in the sun at picturesque Laguna Beach. He laid down on the sand, closed his eyes and... dueling political rallies broke out.

D.A. was caught in a political flashpoint just a week after the Charlottesville riots. Tensions were hot across the country, and a Neo-Nazi rally was scheduled to take place. That meant counter-protesters rushed to the beach to vocalize their views and shout down the Nazi sympathizers. To D.A. it also meant no peace and quiet at the beach.

Here's the dramatic video of the clash on the beach, complete with armed riot police, hysterical handmade signs, and a Curb Your Enthusiasm spoof.

Only D.A. could bring a sense of humor to such a tense, politically charged day at the beach.
