Day 1 of our road trip around Iceland’s Famous Ring Road!!

Day one of our Iceland road trip was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we hit the road, we were surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that felt straight out of a dream. We saw several beautiful waterfalls and at one point even had Skógafoss to ourselves!! We started our roadtrip in Reykjavik and ended day 1 at the Vik Campsites. During our stay, the campsite didn't require reservations and is a first come first serve system. It is important to note that this campsite is only open from May to October.
