Here we show the number of turns out the R24 pump bypass screw should be
You should never need to adjust this
But perhaps if you did adjust it and didn’t count the number of turns you made, or you purchased the machine second hand.

This is the way:
Using a 5.5mm flat bladed screwdriver, or similar
Turn the screw fully in (clockwise)
Then back the screw out 3 complete turns of the screw

The screw is there to offer an escape route for the water in the pump if the pressure on the outlet side of the pump is greater than the pressure the pump can deliver.
This way it protects the pump
As such you want the screw as far out as possible to give maximum protection to the pump

The adjustment screw is on the side of the pump

The pump only needs to deliver the maximum possible set pressure, which is 6 bar
If the bypass screw were unscrewed too far the pump would run forever as it would be unable to deliver water at the maximum set pressure of 6 bar
But that is the maximum the pressure relief screw needs to be turned in just so the pump can deliver 6 bar
