Grateful thanks to Gerry for graciously allowing his father's film to be uploaded to the MHG channel.

Mearns man Bill McKendry was a talented self-taught amateur film maker who aspired to make a record of life in the village in the 1950s. Everything in this film was created by Bill himself. He had a great a sense of humour which pops up throughout the film. Watch out for the "if they don't like it they can lump it" caption - no political correctness in those days!

Captivating and atmospheric music courtesy of Longzijun:
1. Almost a love story (5 mins)
2. Wild illusion (6 mins)
3. Lock and love (6 mins)
4. Elegy (5 mins)
5. As long as a word remains unspoken (2 mins)
6. Dreams (11 mins)
