KTM has updated its entire lineup to meet the BS6 emission norms, making them the first bike maker to be fully-future emission compliant. There are

a lot of changes done to the KTM 200 Duke BS6 which now gets the same styling as the 250 Duke. The 1290 Super Duke-derived body work as well as the split-trellis frame make their way on to the 200 Duke. The new price for the 200 Duke BS6 is Rs 1,72,749 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 10,496 more than the BS4 bike.
The KTM 200 Duke is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that continues to produce the same 25PS and 19.3Nm in its BS6 trim. Drive is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox and chain final drive. The engine is housed in a trellis frame suspended on a 43mm WP upside-down fork and preload-adjustable mono-shock. 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in MRF tubeless radial tyres. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard from the BS6 model. The BS4 model only got a single-channel ABS unit.

Styling of the BS4 model had remained largely unchanged since it was first launched in 2012. Hence, KTM has sought to refresh the look of the naked motorcycle. The Duke gets a fully digital instrument cluster, which also displays a clock, tripmeter, odometer and distance to empty.

It competes against the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
