In this video, I upgrade the control panel to accommodate additional modules that I have or would like to add. Often times, the quality or available space in the typical RV is lacking, and is not easy to add your own components, such as battery monitor systems, EMS (electrical management systems) and the like.


With this latest custom mod on my 5th wheel trailer, solved that problem. Not only is the panel large enough for adding more components, it is flexible enough to grow with my additions.

For example, I added 6 openings on either side of the OEM panel that could be removed and updated. I use them for things like dimmers for the overhead lights and awnings (which I have changed twice), breakers, system water monitor, (using H2Oh no design0, remote control interface panel, and so on.
