✳️ ONE THIEF/BURGLAR APPREHENDED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE INCIDENT BY THE STAFF OF PS KISHANGARH/SWD.
✳️ ONE STOLEN HP LAPTOP & ONE MOTORCYCLE WITHOUT NUMBER PLATE USED IN THE CRIME RECOVERED.
The staff of PS Kishangarh, South West District, has arrested one desperate burglar/thief namely Ravi Kumar S/o Rajkumar @ Vijay R/o Studio Apartment, Sec-16B, Dwarka, New Delhi, age 32 years. With his arrest, one stolen HP laptop & one motorcycle without number plate used in the crime were recovered at his instance.
INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:
On 13.05.2025, an online E-FIR No. 80046601/2025, u/s 305/331(3) BNS was registered at PS Kishangarh, New Delhi, by the complainant Mr. Umesh Chand Yadav R/o Munirka, New Delhi, wherein he informed that his two laptops, Make-HP and ASUS, were stolen by some unknown in the morning of 09.05.2025 from his house. Therefore, the investigation was taken up accordingly.
To solve the case, a crack team comprising SI Dharmendra, HC Digvijay, HC Satyavir, HC Birender & Ct. Sachin was constituted under the close supervision of SHO/Inspr. Shri Niwas and the overall guidance of Shri Ranbir Singh, ACP/Sub-Division, Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi to nab the culprits. During investigation, the CCTV footage installed in the nearby area was analyzed and one suspected person could be seen riding on a bike without number plate but there was a small red colored scarf like a devotional chunni, tied on the handle of the bike. Therefore, the route taken by the bike was analyzed, and multiple CCTV footages were reviewed in an effort to trace out the accused. All picket staff were also informed about the suspect and they were directed to keep strict vigilance. Further, local beat staff and secret informers were deployed in the area and the stolen laptop was also kept on technical surveillance. Further, on 14.05.2025, the complainant informed that he got notification of some applications including MS-office being used by someone in his laptop. The location of the said laptop was found near Dwarka Sec-16. Acting swiftly, the team reached the vicinity of the laptop's last location, but were unable to determine its exact position. The approximate area covered was a vast region of about one square kilometre. Hence, it was very difficult to trace out the alleged persons. Therefore, the team meticulously planned their approach and they scattered in different directions and search of the accused was made at several nearby parks, markets and locality. Many rehri-walas, shop keepers and local persons were enquired if they have seen any motorcycle without number plate and having some red-chunni tied on the handle. After a lot of relentless searching, one accused person namely Ravi Kumar S/o Rajkumar @ Vijay R/o Studio Apartment, Sec-16B, Dwarka, New Delhi, age 32 years, was identified & apprehended from his house. Upon thorough interrogation, he admitted his crime and further informed that he had sold one HP laptop to one shopkeeper near Kakrola Housing Complex whereas he sold another ASUS laptop online to Cashify. Further, alleged M/cycle, Make- Hero, having no number plate, was recovered upon his instance. The accused was arrested and said M/cycle was seized in the case. Further, as per his disclosure statement, the HP laptop was recovered from one shop namely Global Technology, Plot No. 314, Kakrola Housing Complex, New Delhi. Thereafter, accused Ravi Kumar was produced before the Hon’ble court and was sent to J/C. Notice have been issued to Cashify for recovery of the remaining laptop. Further investigation is being carried out accordingly.
