Werner Stiller is the most famous East German agent who defected to the West. When he crossed the border in January 1979, he carried two suitcases filled with highly classified documents. He presented the contents to the West German foreign intelligence service, together with his knowledge of the internal organization of East Germany’s Hauptverwaltung Aufklärung. This video tells the story of the life of Werner Stiller.
