Heart Warriors - a documentary by Cassius Rayner. Filmed using Filmic Pro. This is a very personal story to me and took 4 years to finish. Its the story of my family going through difficult times when my 2nd daughter was very ill and spent a lot of her younger years in hospital - I wanted to tell the story of Professor Qureshi and how he became very important to our family but also the incredible missions he does overseas saving many childrens lives. Soon I hope to release an extended version of this story that will also include an interview I did with Professor Anderson who performed the actual open heart surgery on my daughter. It's a story of hope, and how precious life is.

The film took 4 years to make because parts of the story took place over a long period. It was also a personal project to me and so I was not paid to make this. Many wonderful individuals helped me by supporting/donating the project including a medical equipment company which made it possible for me to finish the film. Chain of Hope charity made it possible for me to fly to Ethiopia with the mission which was very kind of them.

From the technical perspective - Interestingly you will see a difference in the quality of the video as I shot this with different iPhones including the iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 11 Pro. Using the filmic pro app made all the difference.
