Disclaimer: Old World tarantulas, particularly and especially the Poecilotheria genus, are highly venomous and generally considered best for intermediate keepers. HOWEVER there are always exceptions and you are free to do what you want but please ~~ KNOW THE RISKS ~~

I wouldn't advise handling Old World species but again, these are choices you are free to make for yourself. Just be CAUTIOUS.

Despite all this, Poecilotheria are NOT typically prone to bite and with proper precautions the risks of this diminish significantly.
