Adding band resistance to your trap bar deadlift will incorporate a variable resistance component to further challenge the movement. Because the band gains tension as you drive upwards into the top of the lift, it helps improve power development which carries over to sport. My recommendation is to not overload the tension of the band so you can still drive up with authority.
