James Rankin is Co-Founder of Everest, the largest Buyers Agent coaching program in Australia.

James has a deep understanding of the Australian property market, a passion that began at age 12 when the farmland around his family home was sold for development. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, he convinced a developer to pay him for mowing nature strips on the 90 blocks for sale. He even assisted in selling a block to a buyer when the agents were unavailable, sparking his interest in property.

After finishing school, James was advised to gain life experience before entering real estate sales, prompting him to start various businesses, including car detailing and e-commerce, and set up a manufacturing plant in China.

Returning to property in his mid-20s, he gained substantial experience in design, construction, and development, participating in over 1,200 property transactions. This journey led him to establish a successful Buyers Agency focused on development/investor clients initially, but has since moved to become a boutique agency for owners occupiers around Melbourne’s exclusive inner East.
