In this vlog we go to see Hairspray the musical at the palace theatre in Manchester. We went to a Thursday matinee showing which was supposed to start at 2.30pm however there was a delay in starting, they said the reason for the delay was due to unforeseen circumstances and the show didn't start till 3.20pm. When the show did start they announced that Tracey, Link, Seaweed and Little Inez would be played by understudies. There seemed to be a lot of cast missing, there was only 2 male Corney Colins show dances Fender and Link, there was only 2 dynamites instead of 3. Even thou there seemed to be a lot of cast missing the show was amazing and considering they would of had to rework some of the songs and dance routines to account for the missing cast members the performance was pretty flawless and the cast was great. I really enjoyed the show and definitely recommend it if it is coming to a theatre near you. this prodution is currently touring the UK so I will link below the list of venues the show will be playing at.
