“This Is My Seattle” was the third of a series of events presented by The A.V. Club and Basil Hayden’s® Bourbon, which celebrated the inspired craftsmen of Seattle, WA, and their varied and dynamic impact on the music scene.

Situated in the lavish surroundings of the new headquarters of revered Seattle outfitter, Filson, musical guest Rose Windows ran through some elaborate indie pop cuts. Guests mixed and mingled with local makers. Hardly Art Records Label Manager Sarah Moody came to talk about her company’s association with Sub Pop. Ben Verellen of Verellen Amplifiers brought some of his handmade products. Two visual artists, band photographer Angel Ceballos and Broken Press Printmaker Andy Crawshaw, were on hand to tell the crowd about how they blend design and music.

Guests enjoyed Basil Hayden’s cocktails courtesy of Terrance Jackson and Andrew Dalan. David Kearns, Basil Hayden’s Bourbon Whiskey Specialist was also in attendance to discuss the unique process that goes into crafting this handmade Bourbon.
