I found this Old, Rusty Cast Iron Skillet for $5 in the local thrift store. In this video, I will attempt to restore this old skillet using electrolysis. This was my first cast iron restoration. This video is not intended to be a complete step by step guide, but rather an effort to bring awareness to the benefits of restoring, collecting, and cooking with cast iron. Through this, I hope to learn better techniques from many of you. I may have failed to mention in the video; you will need an older manual battery charger for this to work.
